Job Overview:
The Pre-Sales Engineer (with Cold Calling Focus) will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities for Hydrocore Limited. This role combines technical expertise with proactive sales activities, including cold calling potential clients, identifying opportunities, and qualifying leads for the sales team. You will leverage your knowledge of fire and safety systems to engage prospects, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions, ultimately driving the sales process forward.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cold Calling & Lead Generation:
Proactively reach out to potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, and other outreach methods to generate new business opportunities in the fire and safety sector. Qualify leads and set appointments for further discussions with the sales team, ensuring strong follow-up to maximize conversion.
2. Pre-Sales Technical Support:
Understand customer needs and provide expert advice on fire safety systems, designing appropriate solutions to address their specific requirements. Conduct technical assessments and site surveys (when applicable) to gather information and propose the best-fit fire and safety systems.
3. Product Demonstrations & Presentations:
Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential clients, showcasing Hydrocore’s fire and safety solutions. Create and present tailored proposals, quotations, and technical documentation to support the sales process.
4. Collaborative Engagement:
Work closely with the sales team to convert cold leads into active opportunities, sharing insights and feedback to improve overall sales strategies. Maintain ongoing communication with leads and clients throughout the pre-sales process, ensuring they are fully informed and engaged.
5. Market Research & Data Management:
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify potential business opportunities. Use CRM software to track outreach efforts, manage lead data, and report on sales pipeline activity.
6. Customer Relationship Building:
Build strong, lasting relationships with potential clients, addressing their concerns and establishing trust in Hydrocore’s products and services. Educate clients on fire safety compliance, industry regulations, and best practices, positioning Hydrocore as a trusted partner.
