We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Print Officer, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at client's discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £12.97 - £16.56 per Hour
Responsibilities:
* Support the Senior Print Officer (Services) in planning to achieve key objectives and targets for delivery. This will include pro-actively seeking and establishing business opportunities to their conclusion.
* Monitor project budgets and workloads and provide progress reports on projects and orders as required by service users, senior officers, and management; take appropriate action on variances by exception.
* Provide excellent service, continually striving to improve efficiency and effectiveness, and actively look for ways of improving services and outcomes for the service and service users.
* Lead on the establishment and delivery of medium and small projects, work programmes, and plans, providing professional and effective solutions that meet the objectives and budgets of all service users.
* Manage the technical specifications of all the print services, including fulfilment, direct marketing, variable data, mailing, and distribution.
Qualifications:
* Essential service-specific qualification(s) or evidence of equivalent experience of continuous professional development to a senior level in the relevant service area.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in the relevant service areas: Graphics, Print (particularly litho, exhibition, digital, and finishing), Fulfilment (variable data and mailing solutions).
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating, producing, interpreting, and presenting management information, including financial reporting and work specifications off a print management information system.
