We're in healthy high performance mode, and we need a VP of People Operations EMEA to work out of our Bristol office to help us tweak the awesomeness we have already created on what it means to create an inclusive, high-performing, and globally impactful workplace.
What You'll Own and Impact
In this high-energy, VP role, you'll work hand-in-hand with our Global Chief People Officer and EMEA's CEO to shape the future of People Operations in the EMEA region. You're the champion of our culture, the face of our People Ops brand in the region, and a strategic architect behind every people-focused initiative we launch across EMEA.
You'll be adept at navigating a matrix organisation, comfortable leveraging global Communities of Expertise for the products, programmes and services EMEA needs to be successful, while you focus on delivering an exceptional people experience directly into and with the region. You will need to be excited about travel, as visiting our people in person across Europe is a must.
Strategic HR Leadership –
* Localised People Strategy: Design and execute people-centric strategies that drive exceptional business results in EMEA and beyond.

Operational Excellence –
* Efficiency Enabler: Streamline operations for the EMEA region, blending tech, data, and strategy for scalable, proactive HR solutions.
* Service Innovator: Drive and refine our People Ops delivery, ensuring that every interaction and program is impactful and people-centered.
* Compliance Maestro: Own EMEA's employment law landscape with expertise, proactively navigating risks and keeping us compliant in every market.

Your Day to Day in this role includes:
* Acting as Compliance Area Lead for Employment Law for EMEA. Monitor and maintain compliance with local employment laws and company policies. Take necessary action to manage and mitigate risks including but not limited to through training, coaching, introduction / review of policies, processes and programs. Provide feedback on POps policies, processes, and programs.
* Executing HR due diligence for the acquisition of companies and the expansion into new markets, and ensure the successful assimilation of employees and integration of HR processes into the Pax8 ecosystem.
* Developing, managing, and guiding a high-performing team to execute the People Org vision, removing obstacles and being an advocate for their work and professional development. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
* Ensuring correct product to market fit of HR programs and services in region. Collaborate with and advise COEs on the design of POps programs to ensure they remain relevant to the business. Collaborate with leadership team members from across the organisation to ensure that strategic decisions support our values and our focus on putting our employees first.
* Promoting a unified, inclusive and diverse culture with clear mission, vision, and values to drive strong employee engagement. Drive DEI initiatives to create a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where all employees can thrive.
* Participating in and initiating in-person time and interactions with EMEA Pax8ers to understand their experience, challenges and perspectives through office visits, open door sessions, listening tours, multiple summer and winter celebration attendance etc. Plan to visit each EMEA area office (5) and other large offices (2) at least once a year.

* CIPD Level 7 Preferred qualification
