About Us: We are a welcoming secondary school in Camden, dedicated to fostering practical life skills in students. We are looking for a Food Technology Teaching Assistant who is eager to support students in their culinary education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Food Technology teacher with preparing ingredients and setting up cooking stations for lessons.
2. Support students during lessons, helping them with their cooking tasks and ensuring they follow health and safety guidelines.
3. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and classroom areas.
4. Offer additional support to students who need help understanding lesson materials.
5. Help with assessing student progress and providing feedback to the teacher.
Requirements:
6. A passion for food technology and an interest in working in education.
7. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
8. Willingness to learn and develop in the role.
9. A positive attitude and the ability to work well with students and staff.
