Job Description:
Job Purpose
Working as part of the Adam Smith Business School professional services team, reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role-holder will support the day-to-day delivery of the School’s student recruitment strategy and assist with the planning and coordination of the School’s student recruitment activities. The post-holder will work closely with colleagues in the College of Social Sciences and the Marketing and External Engagement Office to promote the School and assist with the planning and delivery of recruitment projects to promote the study opportunities at the Adam Smith Business School.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Support the implementation of the School’s student recruitment and conversion plans and strategy, including coordinating, planning, and tracking activities in alignment with university-wide recruitment plans.
2. Assist in the development of onboarding communications for new students via webpages and email.
3. Maintain and update the School’s recruitment web pages and external profiles.
4. Collaborate with the Marketing Officer to plan digital marketing assets and content.
5. Create market assessment reports for specific courses during portfolio reviews.
6. Ensure external listings are current and aligned with advertising priorities.
7. Support the creation of promotional materials and flyers for programs.
8. Organize recruitment events and support participation in university open days and web chats.
9. Coordinate student and alumni volunteer involvement in recruitment activities.
10. Assist in producing recruitment videos, including planning and liaising with production teams.
11. Report on recruitment activity effectiveness using data, analytics, and GDPR-compliant methods.
12. Contribute to enhancing the university’s international profile in line with strategic goals.
Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Knowledge/Qualifications
Essential: Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 7 or equivalent experience.
Desirable: Knowledge of student recruitment and digital marketing.
Skills

Terms and Conditions
Salary: Grade 5, £25,138 - £29,605 per annum. Full-time, fixed-term for up to 6 months. Internal secondment considerations apply for current employees.
