Hours: 37.5 hours per week worked Monday to Friday
Contract: Fixed Term Contract for 13 months from start date.
This is an exciting role to work within a dynamic fundraising team focusing on administrative tasks. Whilst completing a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business and Administration. You'll have the opportunity to develop essential skills and behaviours that support your personal and professional growth.
The Fundraising Administration Apprentice will sit within the Supporter Engagement Team and support the wider fundraising team administration including in memory giving, the lottery, fundraising events, corporate and community fundraising.
As a key member of the fundraising team, you’ll benefit from various training and development opportunities, which will open doors to exciting career possibilities.
The main responsibilities include undertaking a range of administrative tasks, responding to queries and connecting with people who fundraise for the Hospice. Offer support to donors and help make them feel valued and thank them for their donations.

About you:
We are looking for an individual who is interested in working in the charity sector, who enjoys working with people and wants to make a real difference within the community. You will be positive, organised and open to learning opportunities.
Skills and experience required:
* Have a level of understanding of English and Maths that supports good communication with others
* An interest in fundraising administration
* A desire to work efficiently and with integrity
* Communication skills (both written and verbal)
* A proactive approach to developing skills
* Self-motivated and a good team player
* Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages to: write letters or emails, create meeting agendas, record information. Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages.
* Personal organisation and time management
* Ability to live the Hospice Values
* Ability to interact and communicate with colleagues to build rapport, trust and confidence
* A thorough understanding of an ability to maintain confidentiality
* A willingness to work outside of core hours as required, including evenings and weekends
