Your skillsandexperiences:
Essential
* Understanding of engineering safety managementprocesses, such as hazard analysis, logical safety arguments andsafety case report
* Reasonable understanding of safety within systemsengineering – including establishment of good engineeringrequirements and how they will be delivered through engineeringprocesses
Previous experience creatingjustificationreports Understanding of SafetyEngineering principles and application ofprocesses
Desirable
* Systems engineering Tools and techniques – (e.g. DOORS,EnterpriseArchitect)

BAESystems Submarines is experiencing a period of significant growth,and we are now actively recruiting a variety of roles andspecialisms to support our ongoing submarines programs which iscritical to delivering our national endeavour. As a Principal Engineer youwill provide support to the Engineering Delivery Manager in thedevelopment, delivery and maintenance of the Project Product SafetyManagement System and Product Safety Case to ensure Products aresafe to own and legal tooperate. You will join a growing team ofabout 50 engineers and will work collaboratively since the earlystage of a major development programme. This will provide you withthe opportunity to influence the progress of different projectswithin the SSNA Combat System programme and to develop your careerwithin BAE Systems.
