Underwriting Associate Property (80-100%)
About the Role
This role will provide technical and operational assistance to support our Underwriting teams, predominantly on our Property line of business.
In the role of Underwriting Associate, your main responsibilities will include the following:
* Enter and maintain insurance and client information in systems and tools.
* Deliver business processing of administrative and technical support for the business unit.
* Take ownership of work with prioritisation and pro-active tackling and handling of tasks.
* Attend business meetings and be responsible for any actions and accountable for achievement of targets.
* Support modification and update process changes in applicable tools, systems, and documents.
* Assist in the development and training of staff.
About the Team
In Operations, we provide support to the Swiss Re Corporate Solutions (CorSo) Underwriting Teams in handling insurance and reinsurance business for corporations and/or their captives.
You will be joining the UK Operations team, having a variety of proficiencies, skills and experience, all committed to bring success to Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. In the role of Underwriting Associate, you will work closely with the wider Operations teams in centralised and offshore locations, as well as your peers in other locations.

* Previous experience in insurance administration would be preferred.
* Good computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, MS Outlook and other applications.
* Strong analytical thinking with a positive and proactive approach.
* Capacity to readily adapt to a changing and dynamic environment.
Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, seminars, and programs to learn about new processes and guidelines, learn new skills, and stay updated with the team supported.
