Pre-Construction Administrator £26,000 - £32,000 Per annum Position Overview This role is to cover the administration in a busy New Business/Construction Department. We are looking for a strong initiative-taking administrator. TRAINING PROVIDED The Role: Key Duties and Responsibilities Creating Enquiry files - Paper & SimPRO Keeping the work-based system SimPRO updated Point of Connections- Apply, chasing, processing & acceptance with the DNO's. Liaising with Customers/Design/Estimating Engineers Section 50's & TTRO's - applying, chasing & processing. Safe Digs/GIS- Enquiry & Construction Asset Value - requesting, processing & acceptance. Quote Acceptance Design - processing & acceptance. Setting up of Construction files paper and system RAMS - ESL Civils & Subcontractors Completing energisation packs Faults liaising with Project Manager, Teams, Clients & Civils Preparing Fault Packs on SimPRO Completing Fault Reports/ Minor works work packs to go to clients. Raising Requisitions on sage, speaking to supplier to obtain material quotes. Keeping Monitoring logs updated - Enquires, Faults & Minor works. Attending Enquiry and Construction Meetings Chasing Adoption agreements & Legal updates Requesting/Chasing Mpans Finalising files after the project end for archiving Whereabouts with DNO/IDNO Weekly work schedule with Project Manager What you will need to succeed Utility/DNO/IDNO/ICP background useful but not essential as training will be given. Good IT skills a full knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and sage accounting Knowledge of SimPRO useful but not essential as training will be given. Strong Organisational & Communication skills both verbal and written. highly organized and detail-oriented A confident professional telephone manner Can work under pressure.
