Company: This company is a London-based main contractor established for over 20 years, split into several divisions, each with its own specialization. They are a cash-rich and progressive company with a strong reputation, with over 70% of their work being repeat business. Their accounts close just after Easter, projecting a turnover of circa. £120m and forecasting circa. £150m for next year. They have grown steadily and are looking to consolidate by developing and upskilling their staff, while strengthening client relationships.
Division: One of their key divisions focuses on refurbishments, restorations, and listed building heritage projects in central London. They undertake diverse work, typically between £2m - £14m in contract value, including complex structural alterations, cut and care, façade retentions, sympathetic restorations, refurbishments, and high-quality fit-outs across prime residential, historical, museum, art gallery, education, and commercial office sectors.
In Autumn last year, the business appointed a new divisional director to oversee the Heritage Division. This appointment was seen as a coup, having spent 9 years in his last senior role. He is well-connected, intelligent, and methodical, with a calm, personable, and engaging approach. He plans to develop the division, focusing not only on increasing work but also on adding value and developing the existing business unit collaboratively with current staff.

The building will be fitted out with teaching space, a lecture theatre, specialist light and dark rooms, and some office space.
Role: Site Manager
The successful candidate will work as a No.2 to the site-based project manager and be responsible for all on-site operations. They specifically want someone who is energetic, dynamic, and eager to learn and progress. Strong IT skills are essential. This is not considered a short-term appointment; the successful candidate will have the opportunity and platform to progress their career.
