The School of Medicine and Dentistry wishes to appoint 4 part-time Associate Clinical Facilitators to join its teaching team. The successful candidates will teach on a range of medical education programmes including the MBBS and Physician Associate programmes. This is an ideal career development opportunity, not only to gain teaching experience, but also to provide an insight into academic roles and potential career pathways. The post is for two days per week, which will include Wednesday, and are fixed term until 30 June 2025 due to the need for specialist expertise.
The post holders will support the delivery of small group learning for students across a range of sessions to include science tutorials, and workshops exploring topics relating to Professionalism, Equality Diversity & Inclusion, Health & Wellbeing, Bystander, Clinical skills, and weekly case sessions.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Applicants will have a primary healthcare qualification.
2. Experience of facilitating learning in small groups.
3. Working to standards required of professional bodies.
