We're looking for someone with marketing communication experience who can communicate clearly with stakeholders of all levels.
This is an opportunity for the right individual to join a busy team and support the delivery of Marketing's key initiatives to the UK advisory market. You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of integrated marketing activities to the UK advisory market with a key focus on results that stand out against our competitors. A key part of the role is working with strategic partners to deliver seminars and conferences, so occasional travel may be required in the UK.

The base
We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We're close to our clients, in the heart of the UK's financial centre. And we have everything we need to work flexibly.
The team
The UK Marketing Team serves Institutional, Intermediary and Individual investors. It partners closely with the local Sales teams to build client engagement and raise assets. We operate across the entire Marketing mix and are part of the Global Marketing Function where central areas of expertise (Digital, Events, Brand, Social, Proposition etc) work with us to deploy strategic and tactical client centric activity and campaigns.
What you'll do
1. Marketing strategy: to work with the Head of Marketing for UK Advisor Solutions to align the B2B product roadmap and business objectives with integrated marketing activities to deliver on the overall marketing strategy;
2. Events management: to deliver agreed calendar of events, both third party and flagship, maximising lead generation, working closely with the UK Intermediary sales team and events team for flagship. Creation of marketing comms and presentations;
3. Events follow up: setting, reporting on and analysing key metrics. Sending out event follow up emails with a clear CTA in a timely manner;
4. Campaign management: to work with the Head of Marketing for UK Advisor Solutions in developing and executing marketing campaigns across both online and offline channels. Utilise all elements on the marketing mix to understand customer segmentation and drive differentiated experience to our target market;
5. Monthly and quarterly reporting: to be responsible for the creation and timely delivery of digital reports, videos via our media studio and performance to support our solutions range;
6. Market-relevant material: to be responsible for producing relevant and impactful material to UK advisers and their clients that is aligned to our overall marketing objectives. Working with external agencies who produce marketing material for Schroders. Updating of key advisory literature and presentations;
7. Content management and distribution: to deliver targeted thought leadership pieces to third party content hubs and other outlets, then working to ensure maximum engagement and results;
8. Stakeholder management: to work closely with the sales and product teams to support the delivery of the marketing strategy. Escalating any issues or concerns to the Head of Marketing;
9. Relationship management: working closely with contacts for third party accounts and content hubs, managing current partnerships with them as well as being aware of upcoming opportunities and recommending these to the Head of Marketing;
10. Compliance and marketing effectiveness: to adhere to the correct internal sign-off process including compliance and brand sign off;
11. Budget management: to ensure all activities are aligned within budget.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
1. Broad experience of working across integrated Marketing channels;
2. Demonstrable experience of developing and deploying integrated Marketing campaigns;
3. Clear communications, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills;
4. Excellent organisation skills and ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure;
5. Previous experience in a similar B2B marketing role, preferably in the Financial Service sector.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
1. Use of Salesforce CRM and Pardot Marketing Automations platforms;
2. Build and deployment of email marketing campaigns;
3. Working closely with Sales and Marketing teams to build client strategies;
4. Good knowledge of the UK intermediary market;
5. Understanding and reporting of Google Analytics;
6. Completed the IMC or equivalent;
7. CIM or other marketing qualifications.
