FLT Driver – 3-month Fixed Term x 5

Role description
We are currently seeking to recruit FLT Drivers to provide an efficient system of pallet movement of materials including finished goods, packaging and pallets across the full site.
Responsibilities:
* To operate forklift trucks to transport finished products and packaging in a safe & controlled manner, ensuring there is no damage to the materials
* Move finished from production areas to internal / external warehouses
* Provide quality inspection of all pallets to be moved either finished goods or packaging and reject and report all substandard products
* Supply the production department with the packaging requirements and pallets, return any foreign pallets and excessive packaging materials to stock
* Removal of packaging from finished goods pallet to allow them to be fed onto the lines
* General warehouse duties including stock checking & housekeeping
* Complete daily FLT safety checks & record in record book
Required skills / qualifications:
* Fully trained and qualified forklift truck driver
* Ability to work on own initiative & works well in a team environment
* Ability to communicate verbally
* Ability to operate strapping and shrink-wrap machinery
* Familiarity of Health and Safety policy procedures & Hygiene rules and procedures
* Understanding of work instructions and follow company procedures
What we offer
* Salary Minimum £34,306 - £39,388 Maximum (1728 hours)
* Salary sacrifice pension scheme with up to 10% matched contributions
* Normal shift pattern is determined by the 5-crew shift rota, however, typically consists of a two 12-hour day shifts followed by two 12-hour night shifts and then a six-day rest period, which includes 21 shifts when working the 5 crew 12-hour shift rota - Holidays are built into the shift 5 crew rota
