Elevation Accounting and finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Worksop area as they look to recruit a Commercial Accounts Assistant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Follow the set processes and procedures to validate revenue and costs in a timely manner for a number of key contracts
2. Weekly and monthly checks of payroll for accuracy including investigations into scheduling hours, pay rates and charge rates
3. Liaise with Admin on the set up of new contracts and the maintenance of existing
contracts
4. Record price variations ensuring systems are up to date at all times
5. Revenue generation for manually billed customers
6. Review and management of accrued revenue
7. Purchase Order Management
8. Assist with debt calls and query resolution
9. Apply Minimum Financial Standards where appropriate, ensure relevant balance sheet accounts are well maintained and properly controlled
10. Managing relationships with Accountant and Admin
11. Produce timely and accurate management reporting to support the Accountants and
Operational Managers
12. Manage Ad Hoc requests for analysis from the business to support them with their
decision making
13. Ensure the necessary contract controls are in place to ensure accurate accounting for
the contract
Person Specification:
14. Knowledge of accounting
15. Ability to work with non-finance operational staff
16. Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Google Email & Calendar
17. Ability to commute to Worksop
