With a focus on quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join us at Bann Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the region, contributing to our success; this role will report directly to the Director. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring cost control, contract management, and project delivery, becoming an integral part of a dynamic and collaborative team. Re-measure and check the quality of sub-contractors work on site prior to preparing weekly payments and monthly valuations. Prepare and manage programme of work and subcontractors in accordance with the contract. Prepare progress reports and attend site meetings and report as required. Document and value all contract variations. To check the site managers daily report sheets and action as necessary. To ensure contracts run to programme and to identify and implement all necessary action to ensure smooth running of contracts and where possible early completion. To process the weekly employee and sub-contract payments with the accounts department and the management team. Liaise with client, always ensuring Banns level of high standard of quality is maintained and client satisfaction is always achieved. Attend pre-contract meetings as required. Liaise with senior management on a regular basis. Key Requirements: Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor with a Main Contractor Strong technical understanding of quantity surveying practices, cost management, and contract administration. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders. Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field Attributes/Skills: The successful candidate should: Be capable of working on own initiative and collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to work methodically and with attention to detail. Good communication and organisation skills. Have good timekeeping and attendance record.
