We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Marine Engineer to join our team and play a key role in maintaining of all our vessel machinery & electrical/technical systems. As the Third Engineer, you will be part of a small technical team supporting the Second Engineer in the effective day-to-day operation and maintenance of the vessel's main propelling machinery and auxiliary plant. You will actively support the Second Engineer in the safe, efficient and effective running of that plant, with due consideration to vessel operations and environmental impact. We would love to hear from you if you have the following qualifications, skills and experience: -Engine Room OOW Certificate Class III/1; -Knowledge of Diesel Electric Propulsion Systems; -Good IT skills; -Working with Maintenance Information Systems; -A knowledge of IMO, SOLAS, MED, ISM, ISPS, STCW / MLC Codes; -Good written communication skills, including report writing; -A current ENG 1 Medical Certificate.
