Year 4/5 Class Teacher - Radstock
A small, community-focused primary school in Radstock is looking for a passionate Year 4/5 Teacher to cover maternity leave across term 5 and potentially term 6. The school encourages a love of learning and is dedicated to helping children achieve their best in every aspect of their development.
Role Overview:
1. Role: Full Time Year 4/5 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)
2. Location: Radstock
3. Start Date: Term 5 (April 2025)
4. Contract: Temporary, until the end of Term 5 (potential extension to Term 6)
5. Salary: Paid to scale
The Ideal Candidate Will:
1. Possess a valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to undergo the process)
2. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (for overseas candidates, ENIC recognition and right to work are required)
3. Be a reflective, empathetic, and engaging practitioner, passionate about making a real impact on pupils' lives
4. Have high expectations for every pupil, with confidence in using effective classroom management strategies
5. Build strong rapport with students, staff, and the wider school community
