Are you a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding opportunity? A primary school in Ellesmere Port is seeking an experienced TA to provide one-to-one support for a student in Year 3/4 who displays challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised support to a student with challenging behaviours to help them engage with their learning.
- Assist in implementing tailored learning strategies and interventions.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages the student's social and emotional development.
- Work closely with the class teacher to monitor progress and share feedback.
- Maintain clear communication with parents, staff, and external professionals as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with challenging behaviours.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
- Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
