We are currently recruiting for our 4-year Degree Apprenticeship Programme commencing in September 2025, in partnership with Ulster University. This will be a newly available position to work within the firm's Belfast office on a part-time basis, while completing your law degree – gaining hands on experience, and earning while you learn.
We are very excited to be offering this opportunity and creating new routes to qualification within our firm and the legal sector. As part of the Department for the Economy's Higher Level Apprenticeship scheme, the successful candidate will complete their degree without incurring any tuition fees, aiding more individuals to enter the profession and strengthening our commitment to social mobility.
As an Apprentice Solicitor you'll have the opportunity to discover which areas of law interest and engage you most. Some people are born litigators, others love the dynamics of a commercial deal, and some absorb themselves in employment law or restructuring. Our apprenticeship route is designed to encourage and develop every person’s unique qualities. As such, you will have the opportunity to work within our main departments; Corporate and M&A, Disputes & Investigations, Finance and Real Estate.
We are looking for candidates who have the drive to succeed as top-class lawyers and become future leaders of A&L Goodbody. Candidates need to demonstrate academic achievement relevant to a career in the legal sector – any offer made will be on a conditional basis for obtaining the A-Levels required to secure a place on the Ulster University Law Degree Programme.

* Intellectual Ability, Judgement & Commercial Awareness
