What you will be doing
As a Quality and Compliance Lead you lead on Quality and Compliance within Moorlands Neurological Centre, you will ensure that the hospital provides a high standard of record keeping, and a confidential and efficient service, in relation to audits, quality and compliance.
Working 37.5 hours a week, you will be providing administrative support across a range of areas including developing systems, delivering and arranging training and embed changes to ensure the sites meet all regulatory, clinical, quality and corporate requirements.

As a Quality and Compliance Lead you will be:
* Ensuring that all the business and performance information is sourced, formatted and sent as required
* Responsible for gathering all the information in a timely manner for the following contracts as instructed by the Hospital Director or Clinical Lead: NHS Contract, Elysium Healthcare Board Information, Action plans, PCA visits
* Supporting the Clinical Lead as directed to ensure that action plans are produced for any of the above contracts and ensure they are kept up to date at all times.
* Collating any of the above action plans so the Clinical Lead can present them at local governance meetings or RMCG meetings.
* Acting as ‘Information Governance Lead’ ensuring that any updated guidance on Information is shared as with the staff team, to be available for advice on Information Governance, to act as a gatekeeper for access to the folders on the shared drive and to ensure that the risks of data breaches are minimised.
* Carrying out Clinical and Local audits in a timely manner as requested by Heads of Department
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Demonstrable experience of administration/office systems
* Demonstrable experience of compliance administration in a mental health setting
* Educated to A Level or equivalent
* Word Processing qualification
* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
* Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended November 2007) and associated legislation
* Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and associated legislation
* Knowledge of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
* Knowledge of database applications
* Excellent verbal and written communication

Moorlands Neurological Centre is being developed as a neurobehavioural hospital service for men and women over the age of 18 years, who have an acquired brain injury. The service will support and care for people who, because of their injury, have challenging and complex needs that are preventing them from making further progress with their lives and require a neurobehavioural rehabilitation programme.
