This role is ideal for someone with strong retail management experience and a passion for aquatic life. Day-to-day of the role: Manage a team of staff, overseeing recruitment, training, and development. Communicate effectively with the owner, area managers, and office staff. Maintain optimal stocking levels through ordering and stocktakes. Ensure excellent animal welfare including licensing, husbandry, and sales of tropical livestock. Oversee the maintenance of the site and housekeeping standards. Manage the EPOS computer system and both internal and external data systems. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in retail store management. Strong knowledge and experience in the aquatic trade (highly beneficial). Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. High standards of customer service and the ability to use initiative to drive business success. Competency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills. Must have own transportation. Flexibility to adapt to seasonal changes in the business. Local candidates preferred.
