The Role
As Deputy Headteacher - Student Services, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing our pastoral systems, ensuring that every student receives the support they need to thrive. You will:
1. Lead on behaviour, safeguarding, and student welfare.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve attendance and engagement.
3. Work closely with staff, students, and families to create a safe, inclusive, and aspirational school culture.
4. Drive forward initiatives that support mental health, wellbeing, and personal development.
5. Be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the school.

1. Has a proven track record of improving student behaviour, attendance, and wellbeing.
2. Is a strong and visible presence, able to inspire and motivate students and staff.
3. Demonstrates a commitment to inclusion and equity for all learners.
4. Has experience in safeguarding and child protection at a senior level.
5. Possesses the resilience, creativity, and ambition to help drive rapid school improvement.
