Cardfactory are excited to announce a new opportunity for a IT Business Analyst to join our growing IT team with a focus on Supply Chain and Business Development. As a Business Analyst, your will utilise your skills in effective prioritisation, eliciting requirements, and producing necessary documentation to bridge the gap between the business, project, and development teams. Collaborate with the functional squad and the wider Cardfactory community to ensure seamless communication and identification of dependencies. Based at Junction 41 in Wakefield, with free parking and a flexible, hybrid way of working, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in our team. Colleagues are required to work in the office for a minimum of 1-2 days per week, with the expectation of additional attendance when needed. Lead requirements engineering ensuring traceability and alignment back to the business\' strategic goals and objectives Build meaningful and strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business both inside and outside of projects at all levels, up to and including the c-level exec team Mapping and modelling of business processes and architecture at varying levels for both current and future state using Microsoft Visio/other tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data and inputs ensuring robust and holistic analysis Analyse varying inputs and perspectives and challenging the norm where necessary in order to identify the most suitable and effective course of action for a given project Work with development and QA teams to define testing scenarios, use case and support manuals as well as conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) where required Contribute to the existing Business Analysis community by sharing experience and best practices, working to enhance the delivery of business analysis across Card Factory as a whole Support business case development pre-project through the identification and definition of both technical and non-technical options Must be a self-starter who is not afraid to jump into projects and build their understanding 'on-the-go' A BCS or IIBA business analysis certification is preferred Excellent knowledge of Supply chain/and or Business development processes ideally with experience in logistics, warehousing, wholesale and EDI Previous working experience as a Business Analyst Demonstrable experience mapping and modelling business processes Demonstrable requirements engineering experience Demonstrable knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies Experience in leading and influencing stakeholders to successful outcomes Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong communication skills
