About the role
University of Staffordshire is looking for a Portfolio Marketing Manager to join the Marketing, Brand and Voice Department. Working collaboratively across Marketing and Recruitment teams and Academic Schools, the role is responsible for the ongoing development, enhancement, analysis and evaluation of the marketing campaigns that promote the University’s course portfolio.
The Portfolio Marketing Manager works across the full student lifecycle from initial enquiry, through to application, conversion and enrolment. They will regularly undertake data analysis and evaluation to inform strategic decisions. With the Portfolio Marketing Team, the role will be responsible for the coordination and alignment of strategic subject level marketing plans and the delivery of multi-channel campaigns that align with university recruitment KPIs. Using personalisation and automation at the heart of operations, they will help step-change the efficiency and impact of our portfolio marketing. This will involve understanding the requirements of internal and external stakeholders and driving forward collaborative approaches to marketing.
What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- Previous experience managing complex marketing campaigns
- Demonstrable knowledge of managing a marketing team/team of product owners
- Knowledge of aligning marketing strategy with an academic portfolio
- Strong data analysis, interpretation and reporting skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lead in an experimental and data-driven digital marketing environment
