An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join the team at St Wilfrid’s Hospice. This is a one year fixed term role.
We are seeking a registered Occupational Therapist to join and develop as part of our specialist palliative care team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the therapy team helping to deliver a high-quality service for people with a life limiting illness, focussing on rehabilitation, self-management and independence. This is a diverse role and involves working across all clinical areas of the hospice including the inpatient unit, the community and our Living Well service.
We are looking for a self-motivated and positive clinician who is passionate about developing themselves as an Occupational Therapist. There is a strong focus on promoting the Rehabilitative Palliative Care agenda to support our patients to keep doing what is most important to them.
There is scope for this role to be suitable for a newly qualified Occupational Therapist.
