About the job:
We seek a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Customer Support Agent to join our growing team. You will play a key role in providing excellent written customer communication, supporting field service operations, and ensuring smooth coordination between our customers and engineering teams.
About Ecovision:
Ecovision has extensive experience designing, installing and managing distributed rooftop solar PV asset portfolios across the UK.
We have installed over 5,500 systems and currently manage over 19,000 installations across the mainland UK (63MWp capacity). Our clients are primarily Portfolio Investors, Councils, and Housing Associations. What you’ll do:
* Respond to written enquiries in the central inbox from customers relating to their solar system
* Book ‘exception remedial works for the field service team, ensuring appointments are made with the relevant skill level and in an efficient and effective manner
* Support field service engineers with daily challenges and diary management
* Register new smart meters fitted by the field service team
* Provide overflow support for booking smart meter changes and upgrades
* Provide overflow support for fault triage and customer outreach
* Schedule and manage workflows for warranty claims, stock awaiting dispatch, and active work in progress
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Salesforce CRM system
* Communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and customers
* Assist with general administrative tasks to support customer care and operational delivery
* Taking inbound calls relating to basic legal administrative queries from external stake holders, including customers and solicitors.
What you’ll need:
* Previous experience in a customer support or service-based role (written communication experience preferred)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage competing priorities
* Ability to work collaboratively with field engineers and internal teams
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce field service or sales cloud experience desirable but not essential)
* Experience in the energy or renewables sector is advantageous but not essential
Location: Head Office Gloucester.
Hours: Fulltime, Monday to Friday.
Salary: £25,320 per annum, with yearly increases for staff
