Overall purpose of the Job
The post holder will play a vital role in providing a high level of customer service, operational organisation and technical (AV) support for Gallery events. They will also assist in maintaining high standards of building presentation, maintenance and premises security at the Whitworth Art Gallery.
You will enjoy working in a busy, demanding environment and managing events through from set up to returning the spaces back ready for the next day’s activities. Core working hours will be 8am – 4pm, but the role may involve up to 2 evening or weekend shifts per week.
Note it is a requirement that the post holder has or obtains a Personal Licence to oversee the sale of alcohol at events.
