We are seeking an organised and professional Accounts and Reception Administrator to join our Client’s busy automotive business in the Strood area.
Our Client is an established company with a strong reputation for excellent customer service and efficient management. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator with accounts experience to join a supportive team, combining front-of-house reception duties with essential accounting responsibilities.
As an Accounts and Reception Administrator, you will be the face of the business, welcoming customers, handling inquiries, and providing high-level administrative support. You will also handle various accounting tasks, including invoicing, accounts receivable and payable, and reconciliations, contributing to the smooth financial operation of the business.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role with accounting responsibilities, a warm and professional attitude, and a proactive approach to daily tasks.

Duties of an Accounts and Reception Administrator with our Client:
- Greeting customers, managing incoming inquiries, and handling phone calls professionally.
- Performing general administrative tasks, including data entry and filing.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable and ensuring timely payments.
- Processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing basic financial reports.
- Assisting with end-of-month and end-of-year financial procedures.
- Supporting the team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
What our client expects of their Accounts and Reception Administrator:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role, ideally with accounts experience.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, professional demeanour with a focus on delivering great customer service.
- Familiarity with accounting software and basic financial procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
