Legal Adviser / Solicitor (CILEX Fellow)

As a Legal Adviser, you will assist senior legal advisers and the Director of Legal Services and the Legal Services team, working at the heart of the University, in providing high quality, robust and timely advice across the University’s activities but primarily focused on contractual matters as they arise in our supply chain and education partnerships. Your work will always be varied – no two days will be the same.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist senior legal advisers and the Director of Legal Services.
2. Provide high quality, robust, and timely legal advice.
3. Focus primarily on contractual matters in supply chain and education partnerships.
4. Work independently within agreed parameters and deadlines.
5. Proactively seek input from senior colleagues as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Qualified solicitor or legal executive with experience in-house or in private practice.
2. Good general training in commercial or contract law.
3. Ability to work to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
