The Role The company is seeking an IT Projects Coordinator to join its Digital & Technology team. Reporting to the Head of IT, with a dotted line to the IT Project Manager, this role will be responsible for coordinating the seamless integration of technology across various event operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting IT infrastructure, event technology solutions, and stakeholder coordination to enhance the overall event experience. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with outsourced technology providers to ensure the successful delivery of IT services, including registration systems, timing solutions, participant tracking, and on-site infrastructure. Collaborate with internal event teams to understand technology requirements and ensure alignment with overall event strategy. Assist in developing and implementing event technology plans, including defining requirements, timelines, and budgets. Oversee the testing and deployment of technology solutions before, during, and after events. Act as the primary point of contact for technology-related queries from internal teams and external providers. Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, ensuring timely updates on progress, challenges, and solutions. Provide on-site technical support during events, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise. Maintain accurate records of technology deployments, incidents, and resolutions to support post-event analysis and improvements. Required Skills & Experience Essential: Proven experience in IT project coordination, ideally within the events industry. Strong understanding of event technology solutions, including registration platforms, timing systems, and participant tracking technologies. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to perform effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Desirable: Familiarity with collaborative project tools such as Mondaycom Experience working with outsourced technology providers. Some knowledge of data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR) related to event technology. Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2). Why Join?
