An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our excellent neonatal team here at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT). Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is one of the biggest and busiest Level 2 units in London, caring for babies born at 27 weeks gestation. We take pride in providing the perfect environment for these tiny neonates to grow, thrive, and develop. Here at BHRUT, we have a dedicated and dynamic multidisciplinary team that maintains the highest quality and standards of care for our neonatal population. The successful applicant will join our dedicated team, which includes Neonatologists, Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and a dedicated Education Team that provides clinical training and support within the neonatal unit. We also work closely with a highly motivated team of allied health professionals to provide excellent family-centered and psychosocial care for our patients and families. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated, flexible, hardworking, positive thinking Nursery Nurse to assist in providing high-quality care and promoting care for all our babies and their families.
Main duties of the job
To assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating high-quality individualised infant care under the supervision of senior nursing staff. To promote a friendly and supportive atmosphere for parents and relatives in which they can learn to care for their babies, ensuring a family-centered approach.
