EMEA Account Manager, Imagen (Reuters)

The Reuters News Agency is looking for an Account Manager to work with our EMEA Imagen clients.
The EMEA Account Manager for Imagen is responsible for managing and growing their client list. Imagen helps sports organizations and media companies manage and distribute their content libraries to partners and stakeholders through a secure and highly customizable cloud-based media management and distribution platform.
As an EMEA Account Manager, you'll be responsible for an established list of accounts in the region and growing the existing book of business.
About the Role
As our Imagen Account Manager, you will:
* Cultivate strong customer relationships and ensure effective service delivery to accounts.
* Develop a pipeline of opportunities which are systematically qualified, by managing the account’s decision-making process to ensure revenues are achieved.
* Provide accurate and timely account pipeline reports, account plan updates and sales forecasts through the use of SalesForce CRM.
* Exercise thought leadership to demonstrate an understanding of the customers business strategies, presenting the compelling value proposition of Reuters Imagen.
* Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives through securing contract renewals and upsells in order to meet and exceed targets, as agreed with the Head of Accounts.
* Advocate on behalf of the customer with the Imagen development and deployment team and relevant cross functional departments.
* Serve as primary contact for all client needs, requirements and expectations. This includes but is not limited to the preparation of quotes, formal proposals, management of change requests and responsibility for liaising with billing and credit control departments.
About You
To be our Imagen Account Manager, you will likely have/be:
* Experience in a position with software sales and media sales responsibility, within the software, media industry, a competitor or a news agency.
* A fluent English speaker; an additional language is an added bonus.
* Demonstrated track record of success in sales and exposure to software licensing is mandatory.
* Experience with sports federations and media groups in the territories.
* Good organizational and time management skills.
* A track record of creating and closing business development contracts (identify, develop and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling).
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and execute a sales plan, ability to use a variety of technology with a high level of proficiency.
* Problem solving - ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs.
