ROLE: Part-Time Accounts Assistant LOCATION: Outskirts of Maidstone SALARY: £25k - £30k (pro-rata) THE COMPANY A growing construction company operating in the South East of England and London, are looking for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant. This position will be for 2/3 days a week on a temporary to permanet basis. THE JOB The Part-Time Accounts Assistant role will mainly focus on the input of invoices onto Xero. Your duties may include: Oversee and manage the accounts inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts with precision. Reconcile accounts using Xero, maintaining accuracy and compliance. Handle employee expense claims, ensuring proper documentation and approvals. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Strong and recent experience in bookkeeping or accounts position, ideally within an SME environment. Experience in inputting of purchase ledger invoices Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new software Excellent spoken and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
