Are you an experienced Production Engineer looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a proactive and hands-on engineer to support our operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure our plant and equipment run efficiently.
In a nutshell you will be responsible for
* Respond promptly to breakdowns and complete work orders efficiently.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintenance design improvements.
* Conduct planned maintenance tasks, including daily checks and routine servicing.
* Ensure accurate documentation of all work and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
* Collaborate with production, technical, and new product development teams.
* Support training to empower operators in minor maintenance tasks.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications: HND/HNC preferred or NVQ/C&G in Electrical (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Operations background, strong fault-finding/diagnostic skills.
Technical Skills:
* Electrical & mechanical fault-finding
* PLC & automation troubleshooting
* Instrumentation installation & calibration
* Welding (MIG/TIG/STICK) & pipefitting
* Health & safety knowledge (COSHH, Manual Handling, Confined Space, etc.)
* Experience with CMMS & Microsoft Office
