We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our client Secondary School in Bolton, Greater Manchester, on a temporary contract with the possibility of going permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role:
As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that promote physical activity, teamwork, and personal development. You will work with a diverse group of students, helping them achieve their potential both inside and outside the classroom. The role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of young people and encourage a lifelong love of sports and fitness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Motivate and inspire students to achieve their best in both practical and theoretical aspects of PE
* Promote healthy lifestyles and physical activity throughout the school community
* Assess student progress, provide feedback, and track performance
* Support the development of extracurricular sports clubs and activities
* Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* A strong passion for physical education and promoting the benefits of fitness and wellbeing
* Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting (preferably KS3 & KS4)
* Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students
* A positive, proactive, and professional approach to teaching and student development
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
