We are recruiting a Critical Services Supervisor to join the team located in the City of London. The successful candidate will lead a small team ensuring the smooth execution of day to day technical services and on-site contractor activities. This includes undertaking management/coordination duties and leading the maintenance programme as well as providing excellent client care. The role is based at our client's European Hub Site working with key client and CBRE stakeholders for the contract. Responsibilities: - Ensure continuity of engineering services to our client. - Manage a PPM schedule for the site, ensuring continuous compliance to client KPI/SLA and regulatory requirements - Respond to reactive requests and work within response and resolution targets. - Lead a team of technicians, providing coordination and support for their roles and ongoing development. - Identify and manage the risks to the client, including communication and consideration of short and long term risks mitigation. - Close liaison with landlord engineering team to support fault finding and issue resolution. - Build an effective working relationship with the client's central monitoring team for building services. - Manage the contractor visits to support our maintenance programme and reactive repairs, including any change documentation and access needs. - Work with the team to propose opportunities for asset replacement, upgrade, innovation and other value-add initiatives. - Work in partnership with other CBRE teams to ensure effective processes, records and standards - Develop and follow all health, safety and environmental requirements including Safe Systems of Work for services provided. - Promote a safe working environment and escalate any concerns. - Provides input to budgeting processes. - To support Moves, Changes and Small Project Activities as well as having a proactive approach to business growth opportunities. - To be the responsible person for site engineering and related hard services but also support other teams and vendor partners as required, fostering a One Team ethos. - To work overtime as and when the business requires, this may include nights and weekends to which notice may not always be given, including participation in "on call" schedules. - Ensure compliance in accordance to the CBRE platform and the Client Standards. - Perform ad-hoc duties as and when required Core Competencies: Skills and Experience - A Recognised Time Served Apprenticeship in relevant in FM technical services, NVQ or equivalent qualification. - Proven experience in FM hard services or equivalent - Leadership and management skills - Experience in using SSOW - Experience in utilising FM management software including planning and scheduling tools, change requests and PTW systems. - Good multi skilled ability - Desirable to have Electrical Competences / Qualifications to a minimum or equivalent to City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 18th Edition and Mechanical Competences / Qualifications to an acceptable standard to City and Guild's Mechanical - Desirable to have IOSH or NEBOSH Managing Safely certification - Ability to fault find - Ability to supervise contractors - Able to write Risk and Method Statements - Able to understand and write Permits - Good organisational skills - Good communication skills - Professional conduct and appearance in line with client and Company expectations. - Eye for quality and attention to detail - Flexibility and adaptability - Be interested in Clients and their full real estate life cycle - Be curious about the wider CBRE capabilities and opportunities.
