We want to recruit people who will deliver the highest level of solution-oriented customer care in our Operations Centre, which is a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose Centre delivering critical services 24/7, 365.
The services include Emergency Telecare response call handling, supporting the most vulnerable; Out of hours emergency call handling for the City, Lone Worker alarms, Security Alarms, and Community Safety (CCTV).
This is a multifunctional role that builds supportive customer relationships and adds value to its services through effective communication and liaison with customers, clients, directorates, and external organisations.
You will be responding to Telecare emergency calls from a range of service users, providing reassurance and arranging the appropriate response for the most vulnerable.
You will also be operating our Telecare and security alarm platforms, our surveillance camera systems, along with telephony, intercom and radio, car park systems, and concierge services.
You will be required to work creatively in an innovative integrated manner, in line with the scope and vision of the new Operations Centre, ensuring that improved services are delivered to the people of Bristol and beyond; and will ensure excellent communication, customer service, and accuracy. This will include liaising with the public and internal and external customers, as well as using your own initiative to solve problems. Good IT skills and confidence in the use of Microsoft Office are also needed.
You will be working in a 24/7 emergency critical response environment, with the requirement to work across different shift patterns.
