The People & Culture Advisor will collaborate with managers to advise on best practices that foster and maintain positive working relationships between the business and its employees, both individually and in teams.

Your primary focus areas will include employee relations, handling smaller restructures, and providing general advice related to People & Culture (P&C) processes and policies.
You will play a key role in ensuring that the business maintains a supportive and productive work environment, addressing concerns and guiding managers in implementing effective P&C strategies.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide professional advice, guidance and support to the People & Culture team and business managers
* Support the People & Culture team and managers in the review of correspondence or reports relevant to employee relations issues
* Support and guide managers in investigations and hearings in grievance and disciplinary matters
* Support the People & Culture Manager in the delivery of People & Culture related training to managers
* Maintains a full understanding of the requirements of the business, assist the People & Culture Manager to ensure these are reviewed at regular intervals, taking account of ongoing change
* Assist the People & Culture manager on the case management of Employment Tribunal claims
* Establish clear communication mechanisms
* Maintains a full understanding of People & Culture policies and procedures and those of our Clients where applicable
* Contribute to the delivery of best people management practice, particularly in equal opportunity and cultural diversity
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* Experience with a strong People & Culture Generalist capacity
* Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or CIPD qualified, or willing to work CIPD qualification
* Demonstrates a track record in successfully advising and guiding management on all aspect of people management practices
* UK employment legislation knowledge, TUPE experience (basic understanding) and Union experience
* Experience of change management and business reorganisations
* Has an eye for detail and can demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously
* Able to multi task and prioritise workload independently
* Able to work flexibly and adapt to changing business conditions
* Excellent communication skills (oral and written), Influencing and negotiation skills
* Able to make presentations, give advice and communicate effectively
