About Our Client: Our client is a reputable estate agency with a strong track record of success and a market leading presence in Orpington. They are committed to providing their clients with a seamless and stress-free home buying experience. In this role, you will become an integral part of their team, working in a hybrid capacity, covering their Orpington estate agency branch 2-3 days a week, and remotely the rest of the time, to support their clients with securing the best possible mortgage deals. The Orpington estate agency branch is particularly busy, generating an impressive 10 new mortgage leads a week. This provides a fantastic opportunity for a driven Mortgage Advisor to build a successful client base. The Role: As a Hybrid Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in helping our client's customers achieve their homeownership goals. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting in-depth consultations with clients to understand their financial situation, needs and aspirations. Analysing a wide range of mortgage products from across the market (whole of market) to identify the most suitable mortgage solution for each client. Clearly explaining complex mortgage options to clients in a way that is easy to understand. Assisting clients with the mortgage application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and submitted accurately. Liaising with lenders on behalf of clients to ensure a smooth and efficient application process. Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the entire mortgage journey. Offering expert advice on mortgage protection products to ensure clients are financially protected. The Ideal Candidate: To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualities and experience: Minimum of 1 year's proven experience as a successful Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Advisor. A strong understanding of the UK mortgage market and a comprehensive knowledge of different mortgage products. Full CeMAP or equivalent. CAS is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. The ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload effectively. A highly motivated and self-driven individual with a strong work ethic. Confident and comfortable working remotely. Proficiency in using a range of mortgage software and CRM systems.
