Purpose of the Role
Ensures the organization and operation of the workshop and guarantees the reliability, availability and optimization of the equipment fleet for execution of jobs.
Person Specification
* Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 4-5 years of experience
* Mechanic with workshop experience
Key Responsibilities
* Supervises preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting: organizes and prioritizes interventions on sites and in the workshop, ensures the traceability of interventions on equipment, proposes innovative technical solutions, etc.
* Manages the relationship with the works and the other centres: organizes the interventions, assists the operation in the choice and use of equipment, discusses with the Operational Unit Manager, etc.
* Organizes regulatory controls: ensures compliance with pre-controls, monitors the lifting of reservations, etc.
* Manages the administrative procedures: anticipates orders, validates purchases, handles disputes, etc.
* Prepares an optimized investment budget (TUM) in conjunction with the Operational Unit Manager
* Ensures budget management by ensuring the correct analytical allocation of costs: monitors the equipment maintenance budget, tracks expenses, optimizes costs, etc.
* Guarantees compliance with the QHSE approach: ensures compliance with legislation, leads the 6S approach, identifies, alerts and acts if necessary concerning risky attitudes in the field or in the workshop
* Ensures the management of the team: validates the checking and holidays, participates in the assessment of skills, the training plan, etc.
