Job Description
Role Overview:
The Technical Manager will be responsible for managing the design and technical aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with heritage regulations and delivering high quality results within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Lead the technical delivery of the listed building conversion project from concept to completion.
* Design Coordination: Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and conservation specialists to develop and implement design solutions.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to building regulations, planning permissions, and heritage guidelines.
* Stakeholder Management: Liaise with local authorities, heritage bodies, and external consultants.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Quality Control: Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and materials appropriate for a listed building.
* Budget Management: Oversee cost control and value engineering.
* Team Leadership: Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Manager or similar role within the residential development sector
* Technical Expertise: Familiarity with structural assessments, design coordination, and construction methodologies.
