About the role This role is within the growing Developer Advocacy team in Strategy and Ecosystems, responsible for interacting with developers and representing developers back into Arm to improve our technology based on their feedback. The position requires researching and implementing algorithms and technologies, new tools and solutions. We are looking for an engineer with validated experience in Machine Learning and/or Generative AI, fast learning and creative, capable of understanding and implementing new ideas rapidly. You will have a chance to contribute to the effort that will drive mobile technology in the coming years. You will create specifications and design process, analyse customer requirements, make realistic effort/timescale estimates, build well written documentation, undertake feasibility work, and actively interact with customers. The role requires collaboration with internal teams, to ensure that developers’ feedback helps improving Arm technology. You will deliver talks and publish content to developers. What will I be accountable for? Build deep expertise in Arm technologies and research use-cases that have been identified as relevant for developers. Obtain data and implement software solutions to showcase developers the benefits of Arm technology. Create new content for developers such as blogs, Learning Paths and articles to help developers understand Arm technology and make the most of it. Interact with developers in forums and international conferences to know about their experience with Arm technology. Task estimation, tracking and completion. Communicating the implemented solutions to wider technology and engineering teams within Arm and externally. Required Skills & Experience: What skills, experience, and qualifications do I need? Demonstrated experience in ML and GenAI. OOP skills, preferable in C/C++. Ability to understand, implement and bring new insights and solutions. Solid Math background. Hardworking, outgoing and standout colleague with excellent networking, influence and communication skills. Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience: Experience with Machine Learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. Knowledge/use of Large Language Models. Knowledge of Graphics API such as Vulkan, OpenGL ES, DirectX. Experience with Android or Linux. Knowledge of developing applications for mobile. Knowledge of Arm IPs and tools. Familiar with agile software development.
