Senior Electronics Engineer
Lead your team in designing cutting-edge defence equipment. This defence contractor specialises in the design, development, integration, and through-life support of successful yet cost-effective military systems and also has their own range of products to support their clients. You will be responsible for leading your team through the entire engineering lifecycle.
About the Role:
1. Design electronic solutions: create initial designs, review designs for others, and ensure designs can be manufactured and tested easily.
2. Develop and improve products: support research and development, integrate systems, troubleshoot problems, and work with external testers to meet safety and quality standards.
3. Document and support projects: create and maintain technical documents, participate in project meetings, and assist project teams with electronics-related issues.
About You:
Ability to design, develop, and review digital and analog circuits, ensuring they meet technical requirements throughout the process and achieve customer acceptance. Experience with electronics design at both the equipment and system levels. Understanding of legislative compliance e.g. UKCA/CE, EMC, RoHS, Safety, etc. Degree educated or equivalent qualification. Experience designing safety-critical systems or mission-critical systems would be desirable.

* Salary: £55,000-£65,000 dependent on the level of experience
