As part of this, the Directorate of Student Services provides high quality services and student support to diverse learners, both in-person and online, to maximise their potential for success.
We are looking to recruit a talented Systems Officer to make a significant contribution to the delivery and development of our services. The Student Services Systems Officer will ensure effective day-to-day operation and lead the development of several information systems enabling service delivery and enhancing the student experience. The student case management system; student hub and MyCumbria student information web site underpin the wide range of services provided by Student Services.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure effective day-to-day operation of information systems.
2. Lead the development of systems to enhance service delivery.
3. Plan and deliver user training.
4. Liaise with system users, suppliers, and IT Services to resolve application and interface problems.
Qualifications:
1. Qualified to Degree level or with relevant equivalent experience, ideally in a higher education setting.
Your main base will be the Lancaster campus with some travel on occasions to our other campuses. Hybrid working arrangements can be supported for this role in line with business need.
