Thorn Baker FM are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Manager for an Educational site based in Moulton, Northampton. Do you have Cleaning Manager experience or a senior supervisor who is looking for the next step in the cleaning industry? Then we have a great opportunity you wouldn't want to miss.
This will be a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 6am till 2pm. You will be leading a team of around 18 cleaners based at a large college campus. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £33,000 per annum.
Our Client is looking for an experienced senior supervisor or cleaning manager with a proven track record within the soft services facilities management, ideally within education or multi-site cleaning, with a clear understanding of the soft services infrastructures and its functionality to the client.
Role Responsibilities
1. Deliver in accordance with the FM strategy, site service charter, and service level agreement to monitor key elements of the FM service.
2. Manage on-site FM projects specific as agreed with the Project Team.
3. Provide a key interface between on-site client and the contracted service providers on a day-to-day basis.
4. Monitor and report service level agreements and key performance indicators internal and external.
5. Monitor supply partners service delivery and customer interface on a day-to-day basis.
6. Financial tracking and reporting to ensure all services are delivered within agreed budgets and service levels.
7. Provide continuous improvement review and development of initiatives to improve or rationalise hard services to achieve optimum performance and full customer engagement.
8. Own and manage departmental audits, statutory compliance plans to achieve and maintain legal status.
9. Develop and maintain relationship with the customer to ensure expectations are met whilst working within defined specifications.
10. Manage all employee relations issues in accordance with company HR policies and in consultation with an HR representative, recognising and valuing diversity in all cases.
11. Train and induct all colleagues in their role, the standards expected and company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
12. Ensure all colleagues are trained in, and adhere to relevant Health, Safety and COSHH policies and procedures.
About You
1. To be flexible with shift times occasionally to adhere to the client/site needs.
2. Experience within soft services.
3. Strategic leadership and effective management of a team across soft services.
4. Ability to liaise and work professionally with clients and staff.
5. Provision of a high quality, safe and clean environment.
6. Good understanding and ability to dissect key data to deliver KPIs.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Full UK Driving licence is required and Enhanced DBS with barring.
