A well established, highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy with 4 offices and around staff across Scotland. This organisation are heavily involved in the Brewing & Distilling and Industrial sector, however their project portfolio also includes Commercial, Residential, Leisure, Education. This organisation to having Directors leading on projects throughout the full project lifecycle is renowned in the industry, and they are supported by Associate Directors, Associates and staff ranging from Chartered Engineers to Graduates. This company also understand the importance of training and development and have a graduate training programme, which is accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers and Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers. Close-knit, supportive team and a relaxed working environment. They are currently seeking a MEP Revit Technician to join their Edinburgh office.
Role
1. Creating and maintaining 3D models of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems using Revit software
2. Collaborate with architects, engineers and other team members to ensure accurate representation of MEP systems in the building design.
3. Assisting in the coordination and clash detection of MEP systems with other trades.
4. Generating detailed drawings, diagrams and documentation for construction and installation purposes
5. Staying up to date with the latest advancements in Revit software and MEP design practices.
Qualifications / Experience
6. HNC / Degree educated in a relevant field and related subject such as CAD design, Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering
7. Knowledge and experience working with Revit software in a MEP environment.
8. Good understanding of MEP systems, including industry codes, standards and best practices
9. Previous experience with a consultancy or similar business.
10. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other team members.
