Role Overview: This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to our innovative projects. The role involves working on design and development within the specialised marine / boat building sector, focusing on the integration of mechanical systems and solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the mechanical design of products, focusing on innovative and efficient solutions. Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed models and drawings for new and existing products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical systems meet design and operational requirements. Provide solutions to complex engineering challenges. Work with customers and clients to understand their needs and ensure project requirements are met. Involved in all phases of the product life cycle, from design to development and testing. Key Requirements: Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably within the marine, automotive, or industrial sectors. Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software. Strong understanding of product design and engineering principles. Ability to drive the design process and manage the full project lifecycle. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Prior experience in inflatable technologies or related fields would be a significant advantage.
