Area Sales Executive (Central and Southern Scotland) Full time position (36.25 hours per week) A unique opportunity has arisen for an Area Sales Executive to join our highly motivated Sales team, covering Central and Southern Scotland. This position will drive sales and distribution of Gordon & MacPhail's own brand products. Preferable Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Previous work experience ideally within the Drinks Industry, with a Degree in Sales & Marketing (or relevant field experience). Fantastic customer service skills. Excellent presentation skills and the ability to present both team and a wider audience. Strong analytical skills demonstrating an ability to research competition, prices, economic conditions, and all relevant aspects of market to identify opportunities and threats. Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written skills) across multiple channels. Effective organisational and negotiation skills, ideally from GAP approved course. Be a self-starter with an ability to manage a busy workload, planning effectively and working consistently to tight deadlines. Strong skill set around analysing complex market data to aid planning and decision making. Experience of working with sales targets, marketing, and brand building. Familiarity with CRM and Business information software, and be IT literate, competent in the use of Microsoft Office and specifically Microsoft Excel. Have a full UK Driving Licence.
