Great Oaks is a secondary Specialist School for young people in Southampton with a range of complex learning needs. Due to the expansion of the school, we are seeking dedicated teachers.
Specialist Class Teacher - Computing - a creative and innovative computing teacher.
The role will involve delivering a modern, accessible computing curriculum designed to engage students with a range of complex learning difficulties, including autism and speech and language difficulties. The ideal candidate will have the freedom to experiment with new approaches and technologies, creating lessons that empower students to use tech to enhance their literacy and communication skills.
Specialist Class Teacher - SEMH - passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) developmental needs.
With a passion for supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning, the ideal candidate will be experienced in teaching young people with a range of needs and supporting them to develop their social and emotional skills as well as making progress with their learning. You will be required to teach all the subjects on the curriculum.
Great Oaks is part of the Specialist Schools Trust which also includes Rosewood Free School.
