Salary: Up to £19,000 per annum (£38,000 FTE, subject to experience) Apprenticeships: Development opportunities are available through Apprenticeship standards Reporting To: Education Manager IN SHORT MK College Group have an exciting new opportunity for an Art Lecturer to join the Education Team based at HMP Lewes to deliver Art and Creative classes to diverse groups of learners. As a successful Art Lecturer, you will be inspiring and deliver exciting and engaging Art classes where learners can develop not only their creative skills, but confidence and personal progress, which they can apply to other areas of education. This is an exciting opportunity to work with diverse groups of learners in the prison and have a lasting positive impact on their educational experience. Milton Keynes College works to reduce re-offending by providing learners with qualifications and skills that they can apply to employment whilst in custody and upon release. We would like you to be part of the learner’s journey, offering your skills and knowledge to guide them throughout their courses. We are seeking an individual who can communicate well with learners to inspire and motivate them. The average class consist of 8 learners and the sessions are approximately 3 hours long. Your lessons will need to be adaptable, innovative, and imaginative. Mondays and Wednesdays being mandatory working days.
